Carolina Livestock Sitters

CLS is a privately owned livestock
sitting service for the large animal
owner. My experience in the care,
feeding, cleaning and turnout of various
livestock includes horses, cattle, llamas,
and other small farm related livestock.
The main goal of my service is to give
the large animal owner the ability to leave
town without the worry associated with
leaving their animals in the care of 'the
neighbor', at a reasonable rate.
I have had a life long love affair with
large animals, from my beginnings as a
dairy farmer, to currently owning large
animals of my own. Your animal, and
it's daily routine are important to me, and
the directions and care you prescribe are
followed to the letter.

   TYPICAL COSTS ASSOCIATED
- $10.00 per horse per day
- discounts available for multiple horses
- $30.00 per day for other livestock
operations up to 25 head.
- NO MILEAGE CHARGES EVER!
        SERVICES INCLUDED
- Morning and evening feed/supplements
- Morning and evening turn in/out
- Morning evening hay and watering,
pasture and barn.
- Stall cleaning
- Other activities as agreed upon

             A TYPICAL 'SIT'
Before you leave for vacation I set up a
day and time with you to come do a
chore session with you and your
animals- free of charge. This allows
me to learn the routine first hand from
you, and allows you to judge for
yourself my competence, interaction
with your animals, and my ability to
handle your animals particular needs-
before you pay.
While away I will complete a daily log
of all activity at your barn or farm.
Should you desire, I can also call you
with daily updates. Typical things listed
on a daily log have been: ' No evidence
of abnormal behavior at feeding time.'
or ' Noticed small cut on left front knee,
dressed wound with. (your medications
name here)
If you need to go out of town, and you
worry about turning your animals over
to 'the neighbor', give me a call. My
rates are very affordable, and I never,
ever charge mileage to or from your
farm.
